We are delighted to inform you that the Boys and Girls Club is organizing the annual Koats 4 Kids campaign. This initiative aims to ensure that every child in our community stays warm and protected throughout the upcoming winter season. The collection period for this campaign will commence on Monday, September 11th, and conclude on Friday, October 18th.

What to Donate

During this time, we kindly request your support in donating various winter essentials. Our focus is primarily on winter coats, with a particular emphasis on sizes suitable for boys aged 8-14, as well as adult-sized coats. By providing these coats, we can offer much-needed warmth and protection to children and individuals who may otherwise struggle to stay comfortable during the colder months.

In addition to coats, we are seeking store-bought hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. These accessories serve as essential safeguards against the biting chill, ensuring that children and adults alike can keep their extremities cozy and shielded from the harsh elements.

We are also accepting donations of snow pants, snow boots, and vests. These items play a vital role in safeguarding against the frigid temperatures and providing an extra layer of insulation during outdoor activities.

Where and How to Donate:

Donations can be dropped off at BGC London (184 Horton Street) Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Your generous donations will make a significant impact in the lives of those who need it most.

For the convenience of Old Oak Residents, we have set up a drop-off bin at all of our Old Oak London, Ontario apartments. You can easily contribute to the Koats 4 Kids campaign by dropping off your donations at this designated location. We want to make it as simple as possible for you to participate in this meaningful initiative and help provide winter essentials to those in need. Your generosity will make a significant impact in the lives of children and families facing the cold winter ahead.
